Creative Content Writer and Editor

If you dream of being in the travel business but prefer to work behind the scenes this could be the perfect place for you.

Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)

Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

Develop new tours and services

Create engaging, helpful and user-friendly content

Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

Proofread and edit social media and blog posts before publication

Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic

Promote content on social media

Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics

Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)

Update website content as needed

Qualifications

Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role

Portfolio of published articles

Experience doing research using multiple sources

Familiarity with web publications

Excellent writing and editing skills in English

Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems ( WordPress)

Ability to meet deadlines

Marketing, English, or Journalism Major a plus

Speaking a 2nd language is a positive. Spanish is a big plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
