CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS COLLABORATOR in Orlando Office


The Creative Communications Collaborator lives in the intersection of Design and Communications. This is a broad-based role whose core responsibilities include managing and executing the firm’s communications plans, strategies, and materials. The Manager is expected to be a strong creative writer and storyteller, as well as possessing thorough research skills, in order to implement strategic messaging and planning for the design studio’s communications priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft and maintain an annual communications plan that is reviewed quarterly, and which supports the firm’s strategic communication goals (incorporates PR, social media, design awards and website)
  • Assure clarity and consistency in the firm’s messaging
  • Content creation – observe and brainstorm new ideas to support overall strategic communication goals
  • Manage and develop content for all social media platforms
  • Manage the firm’s PR consultant
  • Identify new opportunities for press and awards
  • Write and edit press releases
  • Working in close collaboration with the design team, prepare white papers and case studies – to establish the firm as an industry thought-leader
  • Track and monitor media coverage. Share coverage with the leadership team on a monthly basis
  • Maintain the firm’s website, including reviewing and authoring new content on a quarterly basis
  • Oversee the coordination, and participate in the execution of all project photography
  • Write and coordinate content for award submissions
  • Provide creative writing for special projects, including custom brochures and publications

Qualifications:

  • Strong creative writer
  • Passion for design
  • Expertise in social media platforms, including Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Proficient in: Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite
