Must have a Master's Degree in School Counseling.

To provide direct professional, educational, career and general developmental counseling services to students.
The physical demands of this assignment include the ability to sit and stand for extended periods and the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Provides academic, personal/social, and career counseling

Conducts classroom guidance lessons and small group counseling

Coordinates comprehensive school counseling program

Serves as Department Chair

Communicates with parents and agency representatives

Designs and implements behavior modification programs for students

Coordinates teacher and parent conferences as needed

Interprets test data and student records for parents and teachers

Daily attendance

Engaged and on task

Performs other duties as required

Post-graduate certification/licensure/endorsement in elementary, middle, or high school guidance by the Virginia Department of Education.

Master's Degree with emphasis in guidance and/or school counseling.
This vacancy is for the 2023-24 school year. This is a 239 - Day assignment with a July 17, 2023 start date.
- Minimum *annual starting salary: $65,437.40 Masters
