Description:
The CORRECTIONS OFFICER position is responsible for assisting a shift in managing and supervising those within the inmate population each day.

Supervising and managing those within the inmate population, maintaining proper daily records, documenting any events, and joining the team in the insurance of facility security in accordance with established standards. Training and certifications are provided by the agency before the officer begins the first shift, and continual on-the-job-training is also provided. The corrections pathway leads to many opportunities in the growing field of law enforcement.

Qualifications:
Must be a US citizen
High School Diploma or GED
Pass all required health and background screenings

Pay:
Starting pay: $16.80
