In the role of Corporate Actuarial Analyst, you will support our global corporate actuarial function with reserving, reporting, analyzing and other key actuarial function pillars.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Engage the local business and other Corporate Actuarial hubs to implement the AzP reserving strategy
  • Perform actuarial valuations of claims and premium reserves of several business units within the North America region, covering multiple lines of business
  • Analyze and discuss underwriting performance with the local businesses
  • Contribute to the development of the actuarial technical data warehouse
  • Support other group systems developments and actuarial projects
  • You may also perform other duties as assigned and must have regular, predictable, reliable attendance.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • 0 to 3 years of related actuarial experience in the insurance industry
  • A passing grade on at least one actuarial exam preferred
  • Ability to learn and apply basic actuarial concepts
  • Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python, R and relational databases a plus
  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented approach to work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take direction and work independently and as a team player
  • Adaptability to succeed during time of significant organization transformation
  • Experience in a global, multicultural, matrix organization preferred
  • Willingness to travel (potential for travel less than 10%)
