Job summary

We are seeking a dedicated, hands-on Controller that will oversee and actively participate in all of the accounting and financial operations of a small / mid-sized manufacturing and construction company. The Controller will be part of a small, hands-on accounting team and will be required to perform daily accounting activities ranging from accounts receivable and accounts payable, to month end close and financial statements, to sales tax, and so much more.

What you’ll do

Our Controller will work with a small team overseeing and completing all aspects of accounting, including but not limited to month end close, P&L reporting, cash flow forecasting, GL maintenance, sales projections, AR, AP, multi-state sales tax, inventory management and so much more. Our controller will also create detailed standard operating procedures as well as build functional reports and identify ways to improve / increase efficiency. Prior experience with manufacturing and/or construction a definite plus but not required. AIA / progress billing a plus.

What you’ll need

Our Controller will enjoy working hands-on in accounting alongside the team with a “roll up your sleeves” approach.

· At least 5+ years of accounting management experience.

· Above average / excellent Microsoft Excel skills an absolute must.

· Above average general computer skills. Experience with Sage 50 or Sage 100 a plus but not required.

· Strong communication skills an absolute must

· Should have prior experience in a small to mid-size business.

· Manufacturing and/or construction experience a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,602.00 per year
