Our behavioral health clinic is looking for a compassionate and responsible Therapist to assist in the treatment of patients recovering from serious mental health conditions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of current psychiatric practices and can quickly assess and diagnose issues. This is a position that requires excellent communication skills with professionals and patients alike, as well as an ability to provide empathy and support.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver individualized therapeutic services.
• Provide a supportive setting in which clients can explore their feelings and experiences.
• Listen to and empathize with clients in a manner that promotes maximum trust and understanding.
• Use current knowledge of therapeutic practices to develop novel treatment plans for clients or refer for more specialized care as needed.
• Complete client files and maintain records in accordance with confidentiality, state, and federal guidelines.
• Use all available resources - including first aid supplies, medical equipment, and communication devices - to ensure the safety of the client or others during emergency situations.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour
