Job Details

Full-time 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Overnight stays and weekend work shifts may be required occasionally throughout the normal milling and paving season (daily per diem when out-of-town work is required).

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks involving physical labor in asphalt milling and paving. May operate a variety of equipment depending upon skill set. Duties will vary.
• Perform duties involving shoveling, raking, luting, jackhammering, heavy lifting, and the use of multiple small tools involved with asphalt milling and paving.
• Operate equipment depending on skill set and level of ability
• Clean tools, materials, and work areas
• Must perform all tasks in a safe manner following all safety precautions
• Clearly communicate with other crew members to ensure safety, teamwork and completion of daily goals

Job Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Lift, carry and hold building materials, tools and supplies
• Perform variety of functions such as dig, spread and level dirt, asphalt and gravel with a pick or shovel
• Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas
• Must be a safety conscious individual
• Be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch
• Frequently lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• See and hear well (either naturally or with correction)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $130.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
