Summary:

The Video Editor will be responsible for assisting the media team in endeavors related to HD Roofing and Construction’s web development needs by producing and editing video content on multiple platforms. This role should be able to drive initiatives to considerably improve the company’s web and social media presence and strategy by being a strong problem-solver and having foresight to examine current trends and act upon them.

Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects
• Script, storyboard, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
• Collaborate closely with media manager and marketing team to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
• Edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.
• Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
• Manage video library.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a closely related field
• 2-4 years of professional experience in content management solutions, social media, public relations, journalism, writing or other closely related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Creative Suite, and the use of cameras. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be able to travel and if required work out of the office in the area and out of the area.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and/or carry light weight (under 30 pounds)
• Sit, stand, walk, reach, repetitive hand motions, hear, speak, and maintain visual acuity.
• May experience prolonged and irregular work hours, and work with frequent interruptions.
• Position is physically in-office but may require some travel for content creation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
