What we're looking for:

We're looking for a Content Director eager to tell compelling brand, product, and technology stories to global audiences. A doer who is self-motivated, has a strong drive to get the word out, and is eager to roll up their sleeves to shape and execute the strategy of a global leader. This is a high-impact role that will contribute to transforming technology markets and changing how streaming analytics and big data actionability are understood and utilized around the world. You'll have significant autonomy to take ownership of strategies, author content and develop/execute growth plans that engage audiences and accelerate our trajectory.

The ideal candidate for this role is an expert in turning a sophisticated strategy into an executable plan that pays off; someone known for exceptional storytelling who is passionate about driving business results. You'll use your knowledge to develop content that brings our brand to life, builds awareness, and creates understanding of Conviva's technology value for both internal and external audiences. You'll have the ability to analyze market landscapes, connect with customers' needs, delve into go-to-market details, and create deliverables that inform, engage, and inspire multiple audiences. Your work will have both an immediate and long-term effect on creating new markets, expanding existing ones and catalyzing countless industry ecosystems to unlock the full economic potential of complex streaming measurement across billions of end points.

As the Content Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the creation of strategies and deliverables that engage multiple audiences in how our technologies work, the value customers get from them and the game-changing outcomes they can expect. You'll collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and your Marketing peers to generate materials for use in sales, marketing, PR, and other activities. You'll be the north star that ensures it is all relevant, compelling, integrated and optimized across channels. In addition to playing a vital role in the marketing organization, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with Conviva founders, the leadership team, and colleagues to bring the benefits of Conviva to more people and organizations across the globe.

You'll be accountable for helping to grow Conviva's leadership position, establishing best practices and identifying effective ways to engage customers, partners, and influencers worldwide. You'll also be a crucial contributor as the business scales, helping to conceive and launch initiatives optimized against company goals and objectives.

  • The Content Director is a new position at Conviva that will define, lead, execute, and oversee a broad content strategy that raises Conviva's profile and market position and brings our brand to life.
  • Work with the CMO, leadership team, colleagues, and SMEs to introduce technology innovations and game-changing concepts that raise our profile and position Conviva as an essential, high-value disrupter in a large and complex market. Bring original ideas and targeted messaging to the table that helps break through the noise, differentiate Conviva in the market and drive revenue.
  • Guide and participate in initiatives that speak to our customers in compelling and credible ways, creating awareness, advocacy, and urgency for the implementation of Time-State Analytics, the Conviva tech stack, and our solutions across industries.
  • Use deep understanding of Conviva's business, the competitive environment, and best practices to define well informed topics and themes for content creation. Foster a deep understanding of customer needs and translate complex technology concepts into impactful messaging that resonates with customers through every stage of the buyers' journey.
  • Develop and deliver high quality content from concept to production in support of marketing campaigns and business objectives, i.e., retention, conversion, awareness, adoption, advocacy, though leadership.
  • Proactively partner with marketing peers, product, sales, and CS teams to develop strategic editorial and marketing materials to enable all audiences to understand, adopt and amplify our vision (blogs, videos, webinars, white papers, collateral, direct mail, e-books, case studies, infographics, etc.)
  • Manage a comprehensive editorial calendar and oversee all the content put out by the business. Build a content flow that capitalizes on our omnichannel strategy. Ensure optimization and timely distribution across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Establish priorities, set, optimize, and manage KPIs. Actively and objectively measure effectiveness and iterate to optimize results against business objectives.

What You bring to the role:

  • 8+ years in senior marketing, communications, content and/or product marketing roles with measurable, market-driving results.
  • A business-informed approach to everything you do that ensures that your decisions always ladder up to a clear strategy, the great work you produce can be mapped back to objective business rationale.
  • Global/Portfolio Mindset: You have a strong understanding of business needs and market challenges and are skillful at developing, prioritizing, and cross promoting a multi-product portfolio, spanning buyers, channels, & industries WW.
  • Hands-on experience developing and implementing integrated, focused, multi-channel content strategies that drive engagement and reach.
  • Deep proficiency in translating/simplifying complex technical concepts, and creativity when it comes to tailoring understandable, persuasive, and compelling messages, strategies, and positioning for all types of audiences.
  • 5+ years as a creator of original content, using domain knowledge, industry expertise and understanding of buyer needs to develop high-quality, high impact assets that inform, inspire, and empower.
  • Knack for knowing how to create content that breaks through the noise including explainer videos, campaign materials, case studies, collateral, white papers, e-books, blog posts, thought leadership pieces, etc.
  • Proven strategic & tactical track record delivering results in fast-paced environments., stewarding companies with emerging/disruptive technologies from low to high awareness and/or through hyper-growth. Confidence "showing your work" through metrics that explain your successes and how you've learned from failures.
  • Strong domain expertise, curiosity, and desire to learn. Committed to knowing our technology customers, markets, industry landscape (players, products, partners) and competition better than anyone. Insatiable when it comes to keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and are responsive to changing information and new market dynamics.
