SW Investments, LLC. is looking for an ambitious Working Construction Supervisor with the drive and experience to help us manage the building/constructions projects. SW Investments, LLC is a local private in-house home building/flipping company in the South Bay area (Palos Verdes, Torrance, Rolling Hills Estates, Redondo Beach). We have been in business for 10+ years and have done over a hundred apartments, flipped many high-end homes and grow larger every year.

The general working building supervisor is responsible for running building/construction projects day to day. Delivering and ordering all materials for each project. You will be an onsite working contractor/superintendent. This is an owner-based company, we do not do contract work for other people, only our own projects. You never have to worry about work as we are always working. Bonus compensation to be paid of $500/apartment and up to $10,000 per house based on a SQFT basis. Generally, we do 2-3 homes per year and 5-10 apartments per year We currently have 4 home projects in progress.

The role requirements are:

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience

- Willing to obtain a Class B Contractor License

- Experienced in reading blueprints and being comfortable building homes from the ground up

- Experienced in all construction trades

- A reliable vehicle to bring lumber/materials to job sites as needed.

Daily Responsibilities:

- Meet with subs and vendor communications/scheduling

- Meet with inspectors and obtain permits as needed

- Handle any disputes and all communication

- Supervising 2-3 employees and being responsible for their day-to-day operations

- Homes/apartments are renovated in a timely and cost-effective manner

- Ensure that needed materials are always on-site

- Meeting and understanding owner’s needs.

Additional details:

- Visit the site, estimate, plan, budget, build.

- Review plans.

- Provide all tools and materials. (We will help with tools)

- Be a problem solver, owner does not want to solve problems for you.

- Apply for any necessary permits, work directly with owner & architect and inspectors.

- Adhere to building code.

- Maintain communication with Ownership.

- Building skills (carpentry, tiling, etc.). (5-year min.)

- Time management.

- Personnel management.

Will meet with owner in office to go through bids and estimates weekly. Light office duties required. Job just opened and we are looking to fill as soon as we can.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
