Our Construction Project Manager will be a member of our Midwest Division and work remotely based in Minnesota (or closely adjacent) for project locations mainly located in Minnesota. Our Project Managers are critical to the success of our projects, the satisfaction of our clients and the key to collaboration of the team. Project Managers are accountable for managing assigned projects within defined budgets and schedules and are accountable for the quality and safety of the construction.

Construction Project Manager Responsibilities

• Review project estimates and preliminary designs to establish time frame/schedule, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of a project
• Serve as the primary liaison for Sales Team, Project Engineers, Customers, Internal and External Resources, and Management regarding project related items
• Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Coordinate with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
• Establish safety plans and goals
• Obtain, review, and approve subcontractor scopes of work and quotes. Work with internal team members to have contracts written and executed
• Coordinate and document quotes and proposals with vendors. Procure equipment for projects and work with vendors and subcontractors to coordinate timely deliveries of equipment
• Assist in equipment selection and manage the design and engineering of the project
• Work with management on monthly budget management, project forecasting, project billing and collections
• Utilize the financial system for forecasting, revenue projections and monthly billing
• Assist in AR collections
• Adhere to the SitelogIQ Project Management Goals and Objectives

Construction Project Manager Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in project management within building construction and renovation
• Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
• Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
• A high degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
