Available position: Fireplace Installer- Crew Partner
Shift: Monday through Friday, typically 7am-4pm hours may vary from day to day based on job
Wage: Up to $22 per hour, negotiable based on experience and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- On the job training with an experienced crew leader
- Installing Hearth Products such as free-standing stoves, fireplaces and fireplace inserts
- Rough framing
- Running gas lines
- Set up job site including necessary mechanical equipment and set units per manufacturer's specifications and suggestions
- Install accessories, gas supply, venting
- Explain proper use of installed equipment
- Keep accurate labor records, inventory documentation for jobs
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
- Able to comfortably climb ladders and work on roofs
- Work in extreme weather, both hot and cold
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Construction experience preferred
- Be able to lift up to 150 lbs/team lift units
- Must be punctual/responsible
- Basic math skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail
