Overview

SCCI is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist: Software (SW) Build Coordinator in support of the WCSS Contract. This position is available immediately and is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Support and work within the Agile Methodology (e.g., Daily Standups, Product Backlog Item [PBI] development, PBI meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Bazaar, Sprint Retrospective, etc.).
• Support the CM Software Build processes to include:
  • Build software via Linux-based environment
  • Audit built software
  • Load Cycle built software on tactical representative configuration
• Support all documentation development and Quality Assurance [QA] checks associated with CM Software Build Process (e.g., Audit Reports, Transmittals, Software Versions Descriptions, etc.)
• Develop scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases
• Work collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and provide support to developers, CM, and testers as they set up their build development/test environments
• Assist in day-to-day SW CM activities, including code merging, versioning and general code maintenance

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. CITIZEN and have a minimum of an ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technical system configurations, and understand part versioning
• Highly proficient MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers and government customers
• Ability to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environment
• Self-starter with strong technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to write clear, logically sequenced and grammatically correct documents

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with MS Access and/or Database Management
• Experience with coordinating Change Control Boards
