The Alton, an Assisted Living facility is hiring for a Full-time concierge to join their team in St. Paul, MN. As the first point of contact, the Concierge is expected to provide a high level of professional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, prospective residents and fellow team members.

Working Hours

Typically, Monday through Friday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Job Standards

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 6 months of related work experience required. Customer service related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Windows computer environment.
  • Basic knowledge of office procedures, including filing, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to work with frequent interruptions.
  • Willing to learn and utilize new technology.
  • Customer service orientation. Able to work productively and positively with all staff, management, vendors and others to achieve objectives.
  • Implement and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Appropriately maintain financial and other Company confidential information

Essential Responsibilities

  • Creates a positive impression of StuartCo by always greeting visitors cordially, using empathy and tact; make sure their individual needs are met.
  • Answers inquiries, offers suggestions, and provides descriptive literature pertaining to trips, excursions, sports events, concerts, and plays.
  • Discusses routes, time schedules, rates, and types of accommodations with residents to determine preferences and makes reservations.
  • Verifies arrival and departure times, traces routes on maps, and arranges for baggage handling and other services requested by residents.
  • Delivers tickets.
  • Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor.
