Job description
Work within a team of combined Grievance and Appeals systems. Receive incoming calls from membership, family members or providers needing to file
an appeal or grievance.

Responsibilites include
  • Verify callers enrollment with Mercy Care Plan.
  • Obtain accuate demographic information from member and Mercy Care systems.
  • Verify information such as members who receive special assistance or Mercy Care Advantage members.
  • Document accurately member's reason for calling.
  • Communicate effectively with membership and peers.
  • Special projects as assigned or needed.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 17.00
Maximum: 27.90

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
***MUST reside in Arizona***
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Medicaid/Medicare knowledge
  • Multi-Tasker
  • Critical thinking
  • Experience with the Seriously Mentally Ill Behavioral Health
system in Maricopa County

Preferred Qualifications
Motivational interviewing

Education
GED/High School Diploma
