The Moorings in Lewes is seeking a Companion, as needed to join our team. In this role, you will engage in activities with residents as needed.Provide companionship to residents as directed by Director of Resident Services. Aware of residents’ individual needs and communicates and acts in a manner that fosters independence.
Assists residents by reminding, initiating and supervising activities of daily living. Engages in activities with residents as needed. Including but not limited to, reading, writing letters, taking walks/rides, plays games, and other one-on-one activities. Does laundry as assigned.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Working with Seniors helpful. Working in a similar setting preferred.
