TEMPORARY POSITION

Community Outreach Coordinator – Mobile Crisis Response

Woodland Centers is seeking to hire a Community Outreach Coordinator for our Mobile Crisis Response program. The primary purpose of this position is to cultivate relationships with community partners, educate and train in crisis intervention, assist in the utilization of mobile crisis response services and to develop co-locations throughout our communities. The Community Outreach Coordinator will work closely with the Mobile Crisis Response Team and Community Impact Team throughout our seven county service area. The Community Outreach Coordinator will have a leading role in creating and implementing an outreach and community engagement plan, raising awareness of the mobile crisis program and educating our partners in suicide prevention and intervention.

This is a non-benefited, one-year grant position. Position will work up to 29.5 hours a week with an hourly rate of $43.05.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Community Health, Marketing, Education or allied field.
• Three to five years of experience working within collaborative teams in various community settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of mental health treatment and service delivery preferred.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and community driven.
• Positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.

Requirements:

• Maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DHS background study.
• Ability to maintain open and ongoing communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Required to travel within our seven county service area.
