What Does a Community Marketing Representative Do?
Community Outreach Coordinators typically work for various establishments, including hospitals, non-profits, educational institutions, or corporations, to perform community outreach responsibilities on behalf of their company. They work closely with upper management and marketing professionals to strategize different ways to spread awareness about their company while also helping their community. Their job is to maintain relationships with local business owners and local communities in the area, and local officials to coordinate fundraisers or community programs. They may also be responsible for maintaining a budget and overseeing the creation of marketing materials.

Location: Vero Beach, Brevard, St. Lucie, and Sebastian, FL area

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a talented and professional Community Marketing Representative to maintain all community outreach activities. You will represent the company and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the surrounding community. You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven, outgoing, and eager to meet new people to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.

Prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities.

Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.

Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.

Prepare accurate records and reports on the goals of the fundraising plan.

Oversee a professional donor management system.

Assist in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.

Create and design different marketing pieces in order to be successful in outreach activities.

Drive to communities, businesses, and or anywhere in the community that is a popular meeting spot in the surrounding areas.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields.

Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.

Strong experience preparing reports.

Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.

Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
