Position Objective:

To manage community-based fundraising programs for the PETA Foundation and supported organizations

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the PETA Foundations’ and supported organizations Livestreaming Fundraising initiatives on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, and other emerging livestreaming platforms

o Identify, recruit, and coach content creators to ensure successful campaigns

o Develop communication plans for supported organizations and staff to interact with livestream fundraiser content creators and respective donors through email, social media, and other communications channels

o Coordinate influencer and community driven charity livestream events and campaigns

o Develop and foster industry partnerships with livestream and fundraising platforms

• Oversee PETA’s other digital community fundraising initiatives, including: "PETA Pack ," "Fundraise for Animals ," and "True Friends Memorials "

o Forge partnerships with athletic events and develop virtual opportunities or challenges for PETA Pack members

o Coach and steward supporters hosting their own DIY fundraisers

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and standards of procedure for livestream and community fundraising initiatives
• Identify and implement new ways to work with the livestream and gaming communities
• Ensure stewardship of community fundraisers, including providing them with timely follow-up and incentives for participation
• Travel and represent the organization at select events or expos, in order to promote the community fundraising program and/or steward supporters
• Perform any additional duties requested by the supervisor

• 3+ years relevant experience managing a peer-to-peer fundraising program
• Experience with livestream fundraising and digital communities is a must
• Strong knowledge base on major livestream platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Gaming, as well as Discord
• An independent drive to succeed with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and eagerness to identify and use new and changing technologies
• Ability to travel and represent the organization during live events or conferences
• This position requires proof of the COVID-19 full vaccination and booster
• Demonstrated competency when handling diversified assignments
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail

• Adherence to a vegan lifestyle and professional appearance

The hourly pay range for this position is $22.56 - $27.72 per hour. The ultimate hourly pay within this range that will be offered to a qualified candidate will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and the cost of living in the area in which the candidate will live and work.
