Century Ambulance, located in Jacksonville, is looking for a full-time Communications (Call) Center Manager to join our very busy and growing team.

About the Opportunity

This is a salaried position that may require days, nights, holidays, and weekends; however, the typical schedule will be Monday-Friday days.

The Communications (Call) Center Manager reports to the General Manager and provides overall leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Communication Center staff. This individual will ensure staff are properly trained and have the necessary tools to provide efficient and high-quality customer service for both internal and external customers.

About the Candidate

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of EMS agency rules, regulations, and protocols; previous experience as an EMT, paramedic, or similar work history is strongly preferred
  • Highly proficient with computers and navigating multiple systems
  • Knowledge of local geography, traffic patterns, and drive times
  • Demonstrated familiarity of emergency medical services, healthcare systems, and common medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in management or a related field strongly preferred
  • Three (3) or more years of management experience or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
  • Strong experience with data management
  • Previous call center management experience using CAD software Crystal and Tableau reporting
