What will you do as a Commercial Store Manager?

1. Management of the daily operations of the commercial service store

2. Experience in employee management, recruitment, retention, and succession planning

3. Experience in financials within retail, commercial, tire, and automotive industries to include driving sales and service standards, budgetary management, and profitability targets

4. Set a high customer service and support standard for internal and external customers

5. Manage a team of sales staff, commercial tire service technicians

6. Meet, maintain, and exceed both STS and industry safety protocols

7. Provide sales, service, and support to new and existing customers throughout the wider catchment area

8. Dispatch, scheduling, and fleet management

9. Recruit, train, manage, and support the entire commercial service tire store, fleet, and team

10. Work in tandem with the local Retail Manager, other Commercial Store Managers throughout the network, local businesses, local unions, and public sector organizations

11. Drive the sales and growth of the sales and service teams

12. Uphold the safety requirements and protocols to ensure every team member is operating within OSHA guidelines; create and maintain a safe and clean working environment

13. Manage inventory with key attention to detail and accuracy

When/Where will you work?

Our service supports the Longview and southwestern Washington State areas. Operating times for the Commercial Service team are Monday-Saturday in-store, 24/7/365 on-call and after-hours service teams.

Are you a good fit?

We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals with experience in automotive, mechanical, repair, tire, and service industries. Ideally, you will have at least five (5) years of management experience in the commercial tire, automotive/repair/service industries. We provide complete training and certifications for our team.

We need someone who has basic computer skills including MS365/Office, email, and database software. With these, you will be writing reports, analysis of financials, correspondence, and using technical manuals. Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, to assess and best support customer’s needs, and partner with other key stakeholders.

Requirements: Three (3) to five (5) years of commercial service, fleet, tire, and/or automotive experience. A valid C-class driver’s license, ability to lift 40-lbs, physical dexterity, mechanical aptitude, problem solving skills, ability to operate hand, power, and air compression/hydraulic tools, successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background, and reference check.

Management: Daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual reporting. Drive sales of each location; meet and/or exceed established sales targets as determined by the Operations Manager. Full-cycle customer service manager for local and national accounts.

Certifications: TIA and forklift preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment: Employees are regularly required to lift 40-lbs, stand, walk, use of both hands, arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as required. Employees are regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, vibrations, working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particles, elevated noise and sounds within the working environment.

Supervision: Commercial service and sales teams. This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Travel: No overnight travel required except on ad hoc basis as determined by management.

Status and Working Hours: This is an exempt, salary-based position; responsible for the location during all hours. Standard working work forty (40) hours, possible after-hours, on-call requirements.
