You Will:

  • Be a subject matter expert for content, processes and procedures associated with a third-party software. Implement, maintain and support purchased software that enables business processes.
  • Be responsible for software integration, internal and external interface development.
  • Create technical system and interface documentation.
  • Work with users to support business applications and define solutions that are consistent with business strategies, gather business requirements and create specifications, design and integrate application solutions with existing processes and systems.
  • Create and maintain application programs using one or more environments. Programming language is generally specific, but not limited, to the third-party software.
  • Create and maintain business reports using a report development tool relevant to the third-party software.
  • Configure the third-party software to meet business requirements.
  • Debug and test system functionality to ensure software meets business objectives, optimize software performance, capacity and resource utilization.
  • Work with the business users solving operational and system issues.
  • Work as a liaison to the third-party software vendor.
  • May lead a project team for new or modified application implementations.
  • Train the business users on new/modified system functions.
  • Be responsible for third party software change-management reporting and tracking software issues, formulating and reviewing software enhancement requests, and installing, testing, communicating, and implementing software release upgrades and patches.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to corporate values of safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

You Have:

  • Experience in SQL creating and executing database queries
  • Experience testing or troubleshooting system issues
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience in field
  • Experience in at least one programming language.

Preferred:

  • Software development and knowledge of REST, API and WebService interfaces
  • Experience with relational database design and management techniques
  • Experience with a Code Version Control systems, such as GitHub or Subversion
  • Oracle PeopleSoft experience is helpful
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps or related project and program frameworks
