Job Description

Full-time position for a Commercial Account Manager (CAM) to service our commercial accounts. This is role requires 2+ years of insurance experience and a Property and Casualty license. CAMs will have a designated supporting Customer Service Representative (CSR) to assist in this role.

Duties will involve managing a book of commercial customers, with being the main service contact for policy renewals, endorsements, coverage and billing questions, answering phone calls, reviewing insurance policies for accuracy (new policies, renewal policies, changes to the policy), data entry into our management system, preparing applications for renewing policies, drafting letters and emails, and other additional support duties as directed by the agency.

Full time position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We pay an hourly rate based on experience and qualifications. Raises and bonuses based on performance. Selling commission available based on performance/progression. Account Managers can make between $37K and $55K a year.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Review agency bill and direct bill renewals per the monthly expiration reports
  • Complete and send agency bill renewal applications to insureds
  • Requote agency bill and direct bill renewals due to premium increase or non-renewal
  • Quote small businesses that get called into the office for a quote, eligible for new business commission.
  • Assist insureds with coverage questions and policy changes, and making endorsement requests to carriers either online or via email.
  • Create and send invoices for additional premium for agency bill endorsements.
  • Review all renewals and endorsements for accuracy prior to sending to designated CSR to process.
  • Help give direction to designated CSR in how to process policies
  • Follow up daily on activities

Requirements
  • 2+ years of industry experience with a Property & Casualty License
  • Technological proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook) and ability to learn other customer management systems quickly.
  • TAM (Applied) CRM experience preferred, but not required.
  • Detail oriented with proficiency to multi-task.
  • Willingness to learn, be resourceful and trainable.
  • Possess Upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High School Diploma
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Works well with other employees and is a team player.
