Who you are:
You have a passion for understanding commercial construction. You enjoy seeing projects move from plans to completed buildings and outdoor landscapes. You are very hands on in everything you do and your attention to detail is second to none. You can communicate with everyone from General Contractors, Architects, General Labor, Plumbers, and more.

What you will do:
  • Ensures all project plans and specifications are executed per plan
  • Communicates project status with Project Management and Operations leadership
  • Implements and enforces job site safety programs
  • Coordinate with local authorities required inspections and adherence to regulations
  • Schedules subcontractors to meet project schedule and avoid conflicts
  • Builds and maintains relationships with Project Managers
  • Supervises the work of all subcontractors for proper execution and quality control
  • Schedules all city and engineering inspections
  • Maintains daily logs of all work performed and weather events
  • Verifies site is cleaned daily and all erosion control is in place
  • Coordinates project set up which may include but not limited to plan for site access, staging areas and security including fencing and signage
  • Supports Project Management in development of project schedules and ensure the project is adhering to the construction schedule
  • Reviews project documents for accuracy
  • Organizes and manages day to day site activities with trade contractors to maintain a safe organized project sequence, including scheduling of start dates and material deliveries
  • Ensure work is being completed on schedule to specifications and documents
  • Maintain a clean, safe work site including scheduling dumpsters, ensuring trade contractor daily cleanup and removal of unused items from site
  • Secure all final inspections and certificates
  • Secure site in the evenings each day

  • Maintain professional communication with vendors, trade contractors, owners, architects and other business partners

Education:
  • High School Diploma

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Must have strong organizational skills to manage large amount of detail
  • Must have the ability to plan out tasks proactively
  • Must have strong communication skills with many levels of business associates
  • Should understand the construction process
  • Self-motivated, self-starter
  • Ability to use basic office equipment – phone, computer, copier
  • 5 years commercial construction experience preferably 2 years commercial pool construction

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid Drivers’ License is required

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods
  • Can lift over 50 pounds
  • Ability to work outside in many types of weather
  • Able to be on feet all day

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
  • Some PPE may be required based on the job site

Work Environment/Hours:
  • This position works in the field at construction job sites
  • Hours may vary based on weather, production schedule and other factors. This role should work during daily construction schedule

Primary Work Location:
  • This position works at construction job sites

Travel Requirements:
  • Some travel may be required in the DFW metroplex, depending on jobsite location.
