MTM is growing and looking for a Command Center Agent. The position is a work from home position supporting our Arizona location.

What Will Your Job Look Like?

The Command Center Agent will approve and coordinate travel in accordance with contract requirements and internal prior authorization requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Approve requests for long-distance travel in accordance with contract requirements

• Approve requests for special transportation modes, medically necessary attendants, or other trips requiring prior authorization in accordance with contract requirements
• Coordinate and book the least-cost appropriate transportation method for long-distance travel based on medical documentation in accordance with contract requirements
• Communicate with clients, facilities, and plan members as needed regarding approvals and travel booking
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other laws, regulations, and contract requirements
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Investigate and use appropriate problem-solving techniques to manage results.
• Always maintain a professional demeanor
• Practice team building, operate in a self-managed manner and contribute to the overall goals of the department and Company
• Meet ever changing departmental requirements by being flexible, cooperative, and professional. Understand, support and contribute to team goals, and utilize team resources
• Possesses the skills necessary to change and adapt to the needs and requirements of the Company and department
• Support a continual quest for quality and improvement. Incorporate feedback and recommendations to improve performance
• Exhibit professionalism, optimism, and a positive approach when change is necessary
• Additional responsibilities and projects may be assigned

What You’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain and apply working knowledge of HIPAA and other job related legal and regulatory requirements required
• Organizational skills an ability to effectively prioritize workload
• Ability to learn new technology, tools, processes, procedures, content knowledge, etc. as necessary
• Must be able to foster and maintain an atmosphere of open and positive communication and work effectively with all levels of employees, including executive management

Even better if you have

• One to three years of experience in health care
• Superior communication, customer service, and management skills along with the ability to present positive messaging and communicate vital information to our customers daily
• Intermediate to advanced ability with Excel, Word skills

Salary: $18.00 per hour
