Hampton NH wholistic clinic is seeking a LPN, LNA or MA to learn colon hydrotherapy to join our team of passionate healers. We practice integrative, wholistic medicine to assist patients regain their wellness from a variety of illnesses, chronic disease and general health issues. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform administrative and clinical duties under medical direction/standing orders for conducting colon hydrotherapy sessions
- Assist RNs
- Discuss/record current health conditions with patients
- Interview patients to identify any contraindications to the procedure
- Record medical histories
- Maintain accurate patient files
- Prepare equipment and patients for the procedure
- Monitor/review the procedure with the patient, answering any questions
- Sanitize and disinfect the equipment/restroom post colonic
- Keep up to date supply inventory records
- Collaborate with the director and team on patient care
- Attend monthly clinic meetings/educational seminars
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years as a nurse or medical assistant
- Patient care
- Knowledge of IV therapy a plus
- Phlebotomy a plus
- Cleaning and sanitizing of product/room
- Understands HIPAA Compliance
