We are looking for a 2nd Shift CNC/Manual Lathe Machinist to join our talented team at our growing company.

Job Description

As a 2nd shift CNC/Manual Lathe Machinist, you will be primarily machining large precision parts for various industries.

Responsibilities

• The ability to perform setups and machine precise parts efficiently
• Personal common hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Meet production schedules
• Follow all safety regulations

Other Skills

• The skill to handle, load, and unload parts using a crane
• A proficiency at reading drawings
• Work multiple flexible schedules as needed to meet customer requirements
• Experience turning parts up to 40” in diameter

Experience

• 5 years’ experience and/or training in a job shop environment
• High School diploma or GED encouraged but not required
• Any relevant manufacturing experience

Traits Needed

Candidates should display an exceptional work ethic and either possess or be willing to learn the tasks listed above. Previous job experience requiring a mechanical aptitude, such as an auto mechanic, would be beneficial. Employees hired into this position, who excel at the associated technical skills, will be considered for advancement into machining and/or other assembly positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
