Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machinery to machine and produce parts
For part production, set up vises, jaws, and tooling
Troubleshoot, alter, or modify CNC machine programs
Check the dimensions of the produced items against dimensional drawings
For precision, keep an eye on the machine's performance, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain oil and coolant levels in machine(s)
G and M Codes
Qualifications:
- Setup experience with CNC machines
(Programming a plus)
- Controls from Fanuc or Mazatrol are a plus
(Mastercam Experience is a plus)
- Mazak, Haas, DMG Mori, and/or Doosan experience
- Prefer familiarity in low-volume metal-part production.
- Ability to read and decipher blueprints
You should be proficient in:
- GD&T
- G-Code
- M-Code
- Machine Setups for Production Runs
- CAD/CAM Software
- Blueprint Reading
- CAD Software
- High School / GED
Machines & technologies you'll use:
- CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki)
- CNC Lathe (2-4 axis) (Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Dmg Mori Seiki)
- CNC Grinder
- CAM Software (Mastercam)
