Compensation Overview
- $1,000 Welcome Bonus - $500 paid at 60 days of employment and $500 paid at 120 days of employment
- $34.54+/hour based on experience (includes shift differential)
- 8% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift
Position Information
- This position works on a variety of different parts, which requires multiple setups. Setup experience and skill are strongly required for this role.
- Perform operations necessary to face, turn, bore, chamfer, grove, thread, drill, tap, and wash a variety of materials and parts
- Set-up machines where detail and operating procedures are standardized and obvious
- Maintain close check on work in process and make adjustments to equipment, programing tools as required +/- .001. In some cells, +/- .0002 is required.
- Maintain cycle times of 1-2 minutes to 45 minutes
- Utilize CNC equipment, manual machines, precision measuring equipment, overhead hoists, hand tools/power tools/air tools, and refractometer
- May be required to read part drawings and use adjustable and fixed gauges to check work
- Maintain proper coolant ratios and levels and perform routine maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be comfortable with continuous improvement
- Medium work frequently and heavy work infrequently (Lifting 20-30lbs)
- Machines include: Mori Seki (vertical lathes), Toyoda, Daewoo, Hitachi Seki, Mitsubishi, Okuma VTL (horizonal lathes), Bar Fed Mori Seki.
- 3-5 years of CNC machining experience required
- Drug screen and background check required
