We are actively seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) for IMMEDIATE HIRE.
Essential Functions: Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):
- Personal Hygiene
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Dressing
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
- Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments
- Performs light housekeeping activities
Some activities are taught by a nurse for a specific client. Some of these include but are not limited to:
- Reinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)
- Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair, or lift device)
- Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Assisting with self-administered simple urine tests for sugar acetone or albumin (Personal Care Assistant may not interpret results)
- Measuring and preparing special diets
- Measuring intake and output
- Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure)
The CNA or GNA might also perform light housekeeping tasks that will facilitate the client’s self-care at home. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Sweeping or mopping floors
- Doing dishes
- Laundry
- Cleaning bathrooms

- 2 step PPD (in the last year) OR a chest x-ray (no signs of TB) in last 5 years
- Valid CPR card and First Aid
- Valid Driver’s License
- Social Security Card
- Health Statement
- Must have a vehicle to travel to and from client
- Car Insurance (declaration page)
