Alternative Home Care for Seniors is seeking a CNA for an immediate opening in:

Snellville, GA

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 2:30pm

Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 12:00pm

Tasks may include, but not limited to:

• Recording pertinent information pertaining to the client’s care
• Reminding clients to take medication at the appropriate time
• Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements of the client, and if necessary, feeding the client
• Assisting or performing personal care including hair care, oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assisting with ambulation with or without mechanical aids
• Assisting with routine bodily functions (e.g., toileting)
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping including changing bed linens, vacuuming, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, and laundry
• Providing companionship and stimulation for the client including reading, walks, etc.; and accompanying the client to doctors or other appointments
• Taking client’s vital signs and recording input and output

Requirements:

• Have an active GA state certification or complete GACCP-PCA Test
• Must have current TB test or chest x-ray
• Must have current CPR & First Aid certification
• Must have a valid Driver's license
• Must have a Social Security card
• Must have Proof of auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a clean criminal background
• Must be able to clock in and out using given app(s) for EVV as required to meet state and federal requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
