Job Title: Cloud QA Testing Analyst Lead Senior

Detailed Description

Participate in the review of project requirements, data mappings and technical design specifications. Create test strategies and test plans for Data Warehouse projects, mapping back to the project requirements to ensure proper test coverage. Develop automation code and scripts for the various stages in a data warehouse and execute test cases using manual and/or automated test processes. Write and execute complex SQL queries in Snowflake per business rules and transformation to support test execution in Azure DevOps. Perform ETL validation according to data mapping, execute data profiling, reconciliation of data, meta data validation, initial and delta validation for different SCD types. Perform Functional, Regression, Negative and migration testing for the Data warehouse projects. Standardize SOX Infogix controls for various sources and execute jobs in Zena. Write UNIX commands and scripts for larger file operations. Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans to address data quality issues. Coordinate test execution with other application teams and UAT partners. Create and communicate test status with project team members and stakeholders. Identify, document, and communicate testing defects. Collaborate with project team on defect analysis and triage. Support continuous improvement by identifying and solving opportunities to define or enhance QA process.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field.

Five years of software quality assurance/testing experience, including ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment and analyzing data, troubleshooting data issues, and creating action plans to address data quality issues. Experience must include including use of technologies including Cloud AWS, Snowflake, SnowSight, DataStage, PySpark, ASG Zena, Unix, Putty, WinSCP, Infogix, BITS, Tableau, Azure DevOps, Mainframe, CICS, SharePoint, Notepad++, JavaScript, VBScript, DB2, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL server management studio, and Data Studio. Remote and work from home options available.
