Who We Are
The College Internship Program (CIP) is a private young adult transition program for individuals 18-26 years old with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences offering comprehensive and specialized services.
CIP’s programs uniquely address the needs of young adults with learning differences by focusing on the generalization of skills while living within a community of peers in a supported apartment living environment. Each student’s unique needs are met individually as they transition to independent living, college, and employment.
CIP is one of the most comprehensive programs in the world empowering young adults with learning differences to succeed in college, employment, and independent living. We strive to challenge the norms of what people with learning differences can achieve.

What you’ll do
-
Deliver high-quality direct clinical services, including tele-counseling
-
Work within the CIP Clinical Framework to provide assessments, support plans, case management, as well as individual and group counseling
-
Lead in crisis intervention and emergency on-call situations
-
Communicate and Collaborate with prescribing physicians on medication and the continuity and support of external treatment plans and care
-
Master CIP’s medical record platform – eCare Vault
-
Connect and consult with CIP staff and administration
-
Increase student engagement, participation, self-awareness, and self-advocacy in the ongoing process of personal mental health management
-
Develop effective skills and strategies for student-led navigation of mental, behavioral, and associated physical health services in real-world settings

What you've accomplished
-
Master’s degree in a field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Autism, Psychology or similar
-
Licensed by the state of practice or in active pursuit of a license with current and ongoing supervision

Clinical experience in an educational setting among young adults with ASD and/or learning disabilities
