Clinical Nurse Coordinator Med Tele PCCU
Full Time Nights 7P-7A Rotating Weekends

Under the general supervision of the unit's director, the Clinical Nurse Coordinator assumes responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions in the unit. In collaboration with other members of the management team, this individual is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the department.

Our Med Tele PCCU Step Down Floor provides care to a variety of patients including Cardiac and Step Down, Post-Surgical, Stable Post Cath, ICU Transfers and general Medical. Our busy 35 bed unit is staffed with a team oriented group of caring clinical professionals including a Nurse Educator and a helpful group of Patient Care Techs. We are looking for a RN that is interested in a higher acuity patient population and has experience working in a Med Tele, PCU or Step Down environment.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN required within 1 year
Current Texas RN license or RN compact license
Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Certification in specialty required within 1 year
Completion of charge nurse course required within one year
Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred
Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.
