Job Title/Position: Clinical Director

Reports To: Executive Director/Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Clinical Director is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services. The Clinical Director establishes, implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.  The Clinical Director also serves as the Clinical Manager for the purposes of meeting the Medicare Conditions of Participation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state or a licensed physician in the state.

2. A degree in Medicine or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program by the National League for Nursing. Master’s degree in health care preferred.

3. Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization preferred.

4. Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel.

5. Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.

6. Has excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

7. Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.

8. Shall be available at all timesduring operating hours and shall participate in all activities relative to the professional or other services provided, including the qualifications of personnel as related to their assigned duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
