Job description
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Coordinator - Nursing is responsible for coordinating the clinical placement of nursing students at various clinical sites that provide students with supervised clinical learning experiences based on their learning needs. The Clinical Coordinator develops and maintains collaborative working relationships with clinical affiliates including clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and other agencies, ensuring that students clinical experiences meet the educational requirements of the nursing curriculum. Performs related duties as required.
- A Bachelors Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited college or university
- A State of New Jersey registered nurse (RN) unencumbered license
- A minimum of five years of work experience in clinical nursing
- Must be able to work varied hours which may include evenings and/or weekends
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
