Job Title: Clinical Manager

Facility: Watauga Orthopaedics

Location: Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol locations

Job Type: Monday – Friday 8-5pm

The purpose of the Clinical Manager is to oversee Clinical, X-Ray, and DME Staff and ensure a positive experience for patients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure compliance with all practice policies and guidelines with regard to patient care and administration of operations and programs
• Consistently review clinical processes to ensure efficiency, create and document improvements when necessary, and ensure effective implementation of any updated policies or practices when applicable.
• Ensure patients and families are satisfied with care and treatment from staff members/providers
• Plan department orientation and in-service training for staff members
• Assist providers in clinic as needed
• Ensure smooth daily operations and steady progress towards established clinic goals
• Generate reports and monitor productivity of all staff
• Review data to ensure patients/customers are receiving adequate service
• Identify problems and communicate solutions to appropriate personnel
• Answer questions and concerns of all staff, and address complaints from patients
• Review and approve staff timesheets for payroll
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for clinics
• Coordinate monthly provider scheduling for Virtual Urgent Care coverage
• Hold staff meetings to provide opportunity for participative planning
• Complete annual staff performance evaluations
• Determine work procedures and expedite workflow
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Participate in manager-on-call rotations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5-years clinical/nursing experience or some equivalent combination
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience
• Demonstrates flexibility and reliability
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate direct reports
• Must be able to multi-task and be flexible to accommodate the needs of the department due to the ever-changing healthcare field
• Excellent decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency with strong technical knowledge

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
