Job description
Clinical Data Abstractor is under the supervision of the Director of Performance Excellence, the Clinical Data Abstractor Abstracts patient data from medical charts for DRH Health, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the State Department of Health, and other regulatory and accreditation agencies. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, professional, and self-directed individual.
Responsibilities:
- Abstracts accurate, consistent and timely health information from patients' paper or electronic medical charts
- Enters abstracted data into a standard data collection tools
- Provides accurate, prompt post-assessment error report analysis and correction
- Aggregates summary data, tracks routine statistics, conducts analysis and completes standard reports
- Carries out routine correspondence
- Applies DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibits behaviors consistent with DRH core values
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, 80 hrs pp

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in Oklahoma is required. At least three years of clinical acute care experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed and able to set priorities with little direction.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Current unencumbered nursing license in the State of Oklahoma or Multistate Licensure in a Party state in compliance with primary residency rules and requirements.
