Intrado is looking to hire a Client Application Specialist to join our Life & Safety business segment.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for assisting with client implementation processes through the set up and configuration of assigned notification products, ensuring client requests are met and verifying that data transfers and modifications also meet those requests, while maintaining adherence to corporate departmental policies and procedures
  • Setup and configure website and mobile apps, per customer requirements ensuring to escalate any assignments outside of the employee's scope of responsibility and skillset
  • Configure notification products using platform tools, which may include, creating and verifying custom notification options within scope of responsibility
  • Set up of data transfers from customer systems and/or databases to respective platforms, ensuring accuracy and completion
  • Review script output to verify the data, which may include, making modifications to the scripting process and/or creating new scripts to manipulate the data set to meet the customer's needs and product requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation needed to properly support assigned products, which may include, recording detailed notes in customer databases, project details from meetings, and client communication
  • Respond to website and mobile production impacting issues, ensuring proposed system change are aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Maintain and develop an in-depth working knowledge of assigned products and services, which may require additional classroom and/or on-the-job training
  • Monitor client satisfaction through outbound proactive contact with clients, in order to, establish timeline expectations; ensuring to escalate issues outside scope of responsibility to appropriate resource
  • Effectively communicate requirements and specifications to a variety of audiences including business users, technical staff, and other communications professionals
  • Participate in assigned incident management, providing assistance to cross functional teams on resolution and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with appropriate staff to complete project task(s) and ensure that all products are delivered to the client's satisfaction
  • Provide input for product development improvements and roadmap suggestions based on knowledge of the day to day working of the products and client needs

Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in computer science, MIS or a related field required. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience working with interfaces between web based software is preferred Other
  • Experience with formatting languages for PHP, SOAP, and REST API
  • Minimum one year of experience with SQL Query is preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience with UNIX command line authoring is preferred
  • Minimum one year experience with Android or iOS platforms is preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and Word is required
  • Minimum 2 year technical support or customer service experience in a business to business environment required
  • Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required
  • May be required to work varying shifts as assigned

  • For candidates located in Colorado, the starting salary range is $16.44 to $21.99 an hour and will be commensurate with experience.
