Our Physician Practice, Starr Convenient Care Charleston, is currently seeking talent to fill the position of variable shift Clerical Coordinator. This job is permanent, full-time.

Core competencies for the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Coordinates scheduling to ensure all shifts covered.
- In charge of front office staff.
- Responsible for training of front office staff.
- Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
- Collects payments from patients.
- Coordinates daily patient flow activities.
- Performs needed clerical / computer tasks to support patient care delivery, including copying, filing, and ordering/stocking supplies.
- Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls.
- Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
- Ensures correct patient charges through chart review for revenue integrity.
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent: Preferred X Required
Two years of college: X Preferred Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
