Overview:
We are seeking a full-time
Clean Room Custodian in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and documenting the cleanliness of a VDA19 Manufacturing Facility.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Maintain the cleanliness of a VDA 19 Compliant Manufacturing Facility according to daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual cleaning schedules
- Perform cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings and windows
- Hand-wipe frequently-touched surfaces, equipment and tooling use to manufacture product
- Complete cleaning logs to provide documentation that tasks were finished
- Monitor consumable supplies and restocking as necessary
- Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
- Ability to work variable and flexible hours including overtime
- Compliance with HRD-003 (Garmin’s Attendance Policy)
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Prior custodial experience
- Aptitude with basic computer skills
- Ability to operate automated floor cleaning machines
- Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
- Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 55 pounds while using safe lifting techniques, standing for an entire shift and walking long distances throughout the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Clean Room Experience
- Custodial experience in an industrial or commercial environment
