The CLAIMCHECK Operations Support Specialist reviews all incoming email, fax or physical documentation, correctly sorts & files documents. Enters new assignments from customer requests, verifies status of insurance policies, generates packets to be sent to insurance companies. Timeliness and accuracy are a top priority. Provide customers with updates. Make & receive phone calls when necessary. Facilitate completion of life insurance claims. Work closely with the CLAIMCHECK team to provide excellent service to funeral home customer & meet department goals.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with customers.
• Review & enter data into software for life insurance assignments.
• Outbound calling to facilitate completion of insurance claims.
• Handle inbound phone calls & email correspondence from customer, employers, insurance companies, employing agencies & record details of these interactions.
• Provide the highest level of customer service for all incoming inquiries or refer inquiries to the appropriate area.
• Obtain & examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints to determine possible cause.
• Utilize provided resources to ensure processes are completed accurately.
