We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Making pickup and delivery of general commodity goods throughout the Twin Cities.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and report to local management.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Collect and verify delivery instructions

Skills

• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid truck driving license
• Ability to use hand dolly, scanner, liftgate, and forklift
• Normally 26 foot box truck, with ability to operate tractor/trailer
• Shift start is 9:30 am, Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
