Citrix Subject Matter Expert / Consultant

POSITION: Citrix SME / Consultant ~ (Part-time/Temporary)
WORK LOCATION: Washington, DC
Position requirements include the following:
Provides Citrix Technical Operations support. Provide recommendations to improve deployment cycle time and reduce errors/defects during process, ensure coordination with Citrix support (government and vendor) on all issues that are not considered routine in nature, perform reporting and coordination of support related issues with COR including delivery of metrics and performance measures.
Minimum Required Skills
- Must have an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance, and SCI eligibility
- Ability to provide on-site support as needed
- Subject matter expertise in the deployment, installation, configuration, operational support, backup, restoration and troubleshooting of enterprise installations of Windows Server and Desktop OS as utilized within Citrix.
- Expert in the configuration of the above
- Experience in review, analysis, troubleshooting and coordination with project managers, integrators, customers and administrators of the above technologies.
- Extensive experience in capacity management, performance tuning, operating system optimization, and associated skills with the above technologies.
- 2 years Citrix 6.5+ experience, 1 year of Citrix 7.x+ or equal training/certification.
- 5 years Windows system administration in an enterprise environment.
- 5 years Windows troubleshooting experience.
- 3 years application compatibility and packaging experience
- Experience working with ESX Hypervisors
- 2 years PowerShell Experience
Mandatory Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree or Certification and 5 years of experience in Data Science, Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
Security Clearance: Top Secret clearance
