POSITION SUMMARY:

Child watch staff is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the children of members while they work out or attend classes at the Rollingwood YMCA. Shifts are 3.5 hours each Monday through Saturday with Saturday only having an AM shift. The AM shifts are 8:30 am to 12:00pm and PM shifts are 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The position is working with children ages 6 months old to 8 years old in our Kids Club area. We are looking for someone who has a flexible schedule and enjoys being with young children!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of the children.· Keep accurate attendance records and submit monthly report to supervisor.

· Communicate children’s concerns with parents.

· Clean up designated area at end of shift.

· Knowledge of all Safety and Emergency procedures.

· All other duties as assigned by your supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

18 years of age or High school graduate or equivalent.

Current certification in Standard First Aid and Safety and Community CPR

Experience working with children ages 6 months to 13 Yrs

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
