$4,000 to $8,000 Bonus - DOE.

Position Summary:
This position will have responsibility for providing Clinical Mental Health Services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified children, families, and adults. This position will allow for remote work one day per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using Evidenced Based Practices to children families, and adults.
  • Complete the required documentation within the identified timeframes.
  • Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
  • Maintain encounters/productivity of 60% of reportable/billable services.
  • Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements.
  • Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings.
  • Staff cases that require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required.
  • Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary.
  • Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting, or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking, and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. The position also requires the ability to drive with adequate vision.

Non-Physical Requirements:
Education:
  • Master's degree in Social Work is preferred or a Master's degree in other Behavioral Sciences required.
Experience:
  • Two years of experience working with children, families adults in a professional outpatient setting.
  • Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation or eligible.
Special Skills:
  • Operate from a strengths-based perspective.
  • Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to provide service in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with referral sources.
  • Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner within the community.
  • Bilingual Preferred, but not required.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification:
  • Licensure as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist with the State of Washington, preferred.
  • Associate Licensure as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist with the State of Washington.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license and agency minimum required liability insurance.
Employment is conditional upon:
  • Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required.
