We are a Paths to Quality level 3 center currently seeking accreditation.

Job Duties consist of but are not limited to:

• assist and supervise children in daily routine activities such as diaper changes, bathroom, meals, dressing, naps
• implement center curriculum
• plan weekly lessons and identify key Foundation skills
• complete observations and assessments as required
• maintain a neat and clean classroom which is organized appropriately by learning area
• supervising and training teaching / assistant teaching staff
• observe and document significant behavior
• support children socially and emotionally
• follow discipline policy by using positive discipline
• attend all meetings and training sessions
• knowledge of emergency procedures
• comply with center’s infection control guidelines by excluding sick individuals and proper cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting procedures
• perform reasonable duties requested by director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Indianapolis, IN 46229: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
