CHILD CARE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR
$19 per hour
Bridgewater, NJ
Part-time - Monday - Friday, 20 -35 hours depending on the program location
Responsibilities
- Assisting in ensuring the delivery of a quality before and/or afterschool program that complies with all NJ Office of Licensing and Child Care Division requirements
- Assist in supervising staff in a supportive and professionally developmental manner
- Encourage personal growth and character development in children while strengthening their social, academic and physical skills
- Maintain positive relationships through effective communication with children, parents, staff, supervisor and host school principal and staff
- Attend staff meetings, supervision and professional development trainings
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree or CDA certification preferred and 1 year experience working with children a must
- Supervisory experience is a plus
