Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Chief Nursing Officer – Eau Claire/Rice Lake/Ladysmith develops and maintains a work environment that supports the organizational mission, values, goals and initiatives of the Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS). This individual provides vision and guidance to develop highly competent patient care operational structures, exemplifying quality and safety and promoting a culture of innovative patient-centered care focused on excellence.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master’s degree in Nursing or other master level health care related degree within 18 months of hire
Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Ten years’ experience in nursing and seven years management experience.
Preferred/Optional: Management experience within a multi-site or acute and ambulatory setting.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: State of Wisconsin Nursing license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
